Not only because we need one, because I believe this QB class will go down as one of the best for a NFL which is morphing to the college game because it has no choice. The NFL selects its talent from college football, and the the gap between college football and the traditional game will not allow draft picks to change. Almost every team in college runs some kind of spread offense, OL do not know how to hold a block, WRs do not run pro routes and QBs are not really being asked to read a defense. Sure, with the speed of the pros, a traditional offense and QB ultimately is the best solution but you are not going to find all the pieces anymore to make that feasible in my opinion. Due to the nature of the college game, you bet you are going to find flaws with every new QB class if you are thinking in a traditional NFL mindset but it's only a matter of time when the Bradys and even Matt Ryans are no longer playing and they will not be replaced. Sure a scrambling QB is acceptable to injury, and probably the position is going to have the tenure of a running back. There are in my opinion at least four franchise QBs in this draft for today's NFL and the next draft will hardly be better. The Cardinals need to draft one :)

IMO this draft class will rival or surpass the class of 83...

that class gave us Elway, Marino, and Kelly.....along with guys like Gary Kubiak, Tony Eason and Todd Blackledge
