This latest crop of Boston Celtics trade rumors are very, very bad. The Celtics have been tied to the likes of Phoenix Suns aging star forward Kevin Durant, and star Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo by recent, weirdly popular trade proposals making the rounds through the NBA media sphere.

In both of these cases, the moves the Celtics would have to make in order to get either of these stars on the roster would likely be a lateral move at best. And depending on how it would end up going down, could actually end up making Boston a worse team in the present and in the future.
