in disguise. I truly believe that.

Knowing we may very well face the Giants in the postseason, I subconsciously thought that maybe a loss to them today would mean a victory in the playoffs.

Wiz will turn this into a positive.

Good ball game. The lesson to be learned, is that to compete with the best, we simply need to eliminate the silly stuff. This team is so close...

I not sure this loss was a blessing, but I think this team BELIEVES it can beat anyone, anytime and anywhere. Even though they lost they fought until the final 30 seconds. Believing you can win goes along way!!!

I Agree....

We went toe-to-toe with the BIG, BAD Giants! We were NOT out-classed! We did make some crucial mistakes and that cost us. You CANNOT give any team the ball on your side of the field (4) times!! Add in that the special teams were anything but.. But hey, the Seahawks LOST.The 49ers did, too. WE are (1) step away my friends! (1)!! :D GO CARDS!

A blessing, that may be more of a silver lining than I can see. Still, the circus has left town. lets see if the Redbirds can get back to business now.

We know who we thought they are
.....awfully good. Without a running game they would beat the Cards 7/10 or 8/10. They knew all our plays and gave us everything underneath

We are close! Dang, we played the winner of the Super Bowl and we didn't get skunked. You are totally correct... Eliminate the silly stuff, tighten up, think, and we'll get there!

I'm not hanging my head in shame and anyone who is I feel kinda sorry for!

The fans and the team gave 100% percent in yesterday's battle. We lost but the war is not over. My thoughts about how hard it is to beat a good team twice in a row were more than subconcious, I have spoken them out loud. We may have a chance for revenge against the Giants, maybe the Panthers/Redskins and even the NYJets also. The one thing I want to see is a win in the East, either the Eagles or Patriots will do. Then I will believe the Super Bowl is our destiny.

I apologize, but this in no way makes any kind of logical sense. No, this loss was not good. Sure, it highlighted the glaring weaknesses we already have, but that just points out to us, the fans, how utterly inept we are at fixing even one of those weaknesses. No, there was no blessing in this loss.

To me, no loss is a blessing. I'd rather have won. But that doesn't mean there were not a lot of positives in this game for us because there were.

That's right, THIS is the thread that really set me off. This loss is a blessing? Probably the most backwards thought a thread was ever based on. Sorry, Red Desert, 'cause I like you as a poster, but this was ridiculous.
