Three Missouri women’s basketball players have entered the transfer portal, a team spokesperson confirmed to the Columbia Daily Tribune on Wednesday.
Backup guard Tilda Sjökvist, forward Hilke Feldrappe and center Lucija Milkovic each officially have entered the portal, marking the first movement as new Mizzou coach Kellie Harper’s rebuild begins. The news of all three players entering the portal was first reported by Talia Goodman of On3.
Sjökvist, a 5-foot-7 combo guard out of Sweden, transferred to MU last offseason from Presbyterian and appeared in 27 games for the Tigers with no starts. She averaged 1.6 points and 1.4 assists in 9.9 minutes per game for Mizzou.
Feldrappe spent two seasons with Mizzou after committing to the Tigers’ Class of 2023. The Berlin native played 52 total games for Missouri with no starts, averaging 1.6 points and 1.0 rebounds per game.
Milkovic, a 6-6 center out of Croatia, also spent two seasons with Mizzou but only appeared in 15 total games, all in a reserve role.
With three confirmed outgoing transfers, Mizzou has now opened up some room for Harper to be more active in this transfer portal window, which opened Tuesday and runs through April 23.
Because of the expected approval of revenue sharing, college basketball rosters will be capped at 15 players starting next season.
Between the Tigers’ current eligible returners and one-player high school signing class, Mizzou has nine players able to play next season. If no other players transfer out of the program, Missouri can now add six players out of the portal and still remain within the roster limit.
Mizzou’s possible returners are point guards Averi Kroenke and Londyn Oliphant; guards Grace Slaughter, Abbey Schreacke and Ashton Judd; forwards Ma’Riya Vincent and Hannah Linthacum; and center Tionna Herron. MU also has signed high school point guard Nikki Kerstein to its Class of 2025.
