Three teams have talked about trading for Matt Leinart

Trading Matt Leinart won't be easy because of his contract, but that doesn't mean it's impossible.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that three teams have discussed picking up Leinart: The Bills, Raiders, and Giants. It's unclear whether they've talked to the Cardinals or just have considered the move internally.
The Giants make the most sense to us on the list. Leinart fits the David Carr profile of a first-round quarterback on the rebound that could provide a solid backup behind Eli Manning. Rhett Bomar is currently the team's backup.
In Buffalo, Leinart would squeeze Ryan Fitzpatrick or Brian Brohm off the roster and possibly provide an alternative to Trent Edwards during the season. In Oakland, Leinart could compare ex-girlfriends with Kyle Boller.
Like we said yesterday, it would be a shocker at this point if Leinart remained an Arizona Cardinal by the end of the week.
