Not only is Thursday night football hard on the players but it leads to poor football and over saturation. It should go.

Of course, as a die hard, I generally watch on Thursdays. But I feel in general that playing on short rest results in a crappy product on the field.

The one way it might make sense to keep it is if they coordinate it for teams coming off their bye weeks. In essence that gives those teams one game in 19 days. 3 games in 21.

See there lies the rub... It's not good for the players and we're worried about safety supposedly unless you're a cowboys or lions player then you're gonna play on Thursday every year and deal with it... You guys are just screwed.... You shouldnt get rid of one without the other.... There have some amazing games on Thursday over the years and the teams get 10 days off after.. Not sure I buy the player safety complaints.... one time a year?? Meh

I don't ever recall one single complaint about the quality of football on Thanksgiving ever not 1 time in my life....

I liked it too. It's the coaching tape angle. But a better mix of both would be best.

Actually, yes. I think Thursday games are dumb unless there's time to rest beforehand. The NFL won't budge with this simple acommodation, though.

I kbow its college Saturday. But Id much prefer a Friday or Saturday nighy game. More rest and better time slot. Fri/ Sat/Sun and Monday night. then stagger the games and teams get rest and wr have more primetime games. Scrap London and Thur games. for Fri and Sat night nfl network would be way better!
