Want to attend the 50th Walker Cup at famed Cypress Point? Here's your chance.

The ticket application process for the Walker Cup opened Thursday. To equitably address the demand for tickets and ensure fair distribution, all single day public tickets will be fulfilled through a random selection process, per the U.S. Golf Association. The ticket application will remain open until Friday, April 18.

Adult applicants may apply for up to four tickets per day and will have the option to apply for up to two complimentary junior (17 years old and under) tickets, which will also be determined by random selection.

For those interested in submitting an application, visit walkercup.org for instructions.

Selected applicants will be notified via email and given a timeline to complete their purchase and accept. Registering early does not enhance one's chance of being selected.

A ticket for Friday's practice round, including the flag-raising ceremony, will cost $100. Tickets to Saturday or Sunday's competition days will be $200.

The USGA also has a frequently asked questions page for more info about the Walker Cup.

The Walker Cup is a Ryde Cup-style event between the 10 of the best amateurs from the United States against their counterparts from Great Britain and Ireland. The USA leads the overall series, 39-9-1.
