My dad has bought the $1,000 dollar tickets and cant go to the game but is looking to sell them and for a profit. If they were my tickets I would sell them at face value but these will pay for his season tickets next year in a better location so he has asked for $2,500 a ticket. I know its really expensive but if I can't go and I can't sell them then I would really like a cards fan to have first dibs at these. Anybody interested? PM me

Everyone knows that these tickets will be sold to someone. I disagree with the price but he needs the money so I figured I'd let cards fans get first dibs.

He "needs" the money so he can get a better seat placement next year? Thats what you said. Thats not exactly a need FYI.

You have to realize though that 2.5 face value, to these people, on this board, is kind of a kick in the balls though, right?

So would it have been better of me to not say anything at all and let some Pitt fan buy them on ebay? If that would have been better of me as a Cards fan please tell me cause I thought I was doing a good thing by going to a Cards website first and letting you know of tickets being sold, no matter the price.

The tickets he has now aren't exactly good seats and he has been a season ticket holder since 1992. So I think after 17 years of sweating out money just for crappy tickets, selling superbowl tickets at a high price for better seats to watch his favorite team next year could be a need when it comes to my father.

Two of the most expensive things on Earth are:

1 Taking a family of 5 to Disney World.

2 The SuperBowl.

In that order.

I already did 1 this year, doing both is financial suicide.

Hey, there might be some deep pocket cards fans willing to take these away from Steeler Nation. Good luck, bro. I'd much rather have two Cards fans there than Steeler guys.

If you're doing a Card fan a favor by offering to sell SB tickets for 2.5 face value, what would you charge if you were trying to take advantage of us? Carpet bagger.

$2,000 to $5,000? Whatever happened to just doubling your money? I wonder what the relative cost of a Super Bowl ticket has been over the years? I just can't even fathom paying $1,000 for a ticket and that's probably just medium range. Wasn't there a rumor going around that the economy was bad?
