Tide S Barron to miss bowl after surgery (AP)

Alabama coach Nick Saban says safety Mark Barron will miss the Crimson Tide's bowl game after having surgery to repair a torn muscle. Barron told reporters after the Crimson Tide's regular-season finale against Auburn that he tore his right pectoral trying to break up a second-quarter touchdown catch by Emory Blake.
