Tigers place Zumaya, Willis on DL (AP)

The Detroit Tigers have placed oft-injured reliever Joel Zumaya on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to March 27 with a sore right shoulder. The team on Sunday also placed left-handed pitcher Dontrelle Willis on the 15-day disabled list with an anxiety disorder and returned the contract of left-handed pitcher Kyle Bloom to the Pittsburgh Pirates.
