The 2025 NFL draft is days away, beginning next Thursday night. Teams are finalizing their draft boards, including the Arizona Cardinals.

As we approach the actual draft, Draft Wire managing editor Jeff Risdon has put together his final player rankings, ranking players 1-250.

This series of stories will break down each position group and list each player on the list, showing where they rank.

Here are the tight ends. The Cardinals could draft one but probably not before Day 3.

NFL draft final player rankings: Tight end

  • Tyler Warren, Penn State (No. 11)
  • Colston Loveland, Michigan (No. 17)
  • Harold Fannin, Bowling Green (No. 63)
  • Mason Taylor, LSU (No. 71)
  • Elijah Arroyo, Miami (No. 77)
  • Mitchell Evans, Notre Dame (No. 127)
  • Terrance Ferguson, Oregon (No. 134)
  • Gunnar Helm, Texas (No. 136)
  • Jake Briningstill, Clemson (No. 140)
  • Luke Lachey, Iowa (No. 177)
  • Oronde Gadsden Jr., Syracuse (No. 208)
  • Jackson Hawes, Georgia Tech (No. 223)
  • C.J. Dippre, Alabama (No. 248)

Possibilities for the Cardinals

Warren and Loveland will both be first-round picks and might not be available in the first round. But with Trey McBride, they might not want to draft a tight end that early. But if Arroyo, Taylor or Fannin are on the board in the third round, they might be willing to pull the trigger on picking them.

After that, on Day 3, any of the guys might be worth a pick. He could compete with Travis Vokolek for the fourth TE spot on the roster and with Elijah Higgins set to be a free agent in 2027, his replacement could be already on the roster.
