someone made a good point about the CLIPS slipping since they're losing Jordan, this opens the door for the SUNS and Aldridge.

The report that I read about LA not liking the LA pitch was because they spent the 1st hour talking about the marketing & commercial deals he could get in Los Angeles & they didn't talk about actual basketball... how he would fit into the team or what their rebuilding plan was.

He can stay out there. Hibbert paired with Chandler would be a mess.

I'm not wanting Hibbert. The Suns have Len and Chandler. Just thinking about what the Clippers might do. He may play too slow.

Hibbert is only 28 yrs old. T.Chandler doesn't have much left.
You need to think more long term.

I misunderstood mainstreet, he doesn't want Hibbert. But even an older Chandler is significantly better than Hibbert, I think Len is probably better than Hibbert at this point. He would serve no purpose here.

In a van...down by the river.

I agree...but Hibbert is better than a retired Tyson Chandler.

They are not the same type of player(Len & Hibbert), and again, you've got to think long term. Chandler won't be here for very long.

Bringing Chandler in here is a "win now" type move and that's fine(especially if it nets LMA) because he's a quality player on a few levels, but the reality is that it's a short term solution at Center. Len has been a disappointment so far.

The Suns don't need Hibbert now no, but to dismiss it entirely is small thinking.

Maybe I'm wrong but I think Len becomes the Suns center of the future. Hopefully Chandler helps him grow his game.

Hibbert isn't a good player, if he is the answer I hope we're not asking the question. I don't want him. This isn't short term thinking, I don't want him this year, next year or the year after. Len is probably just as good right now even if he has been disappointing.

This to me at least indicates they don't know what they are doing in L.A.

In the past, they had a plan, and to augment that plan, they would use the propaganda aspect linkages to marketing/endorsements/Hollywood as a side thing.

Now it looks like the brain trust in L.A. thinks THAT is the rightful pitch. All flash and no substance. The flash comes first, the history 2nd, and anything meaningful third, lower, or not at all.

The Lakers, if this is any indication of how they perceive things, are lost, and the last few years of losing hasn't taught them much.

I'm sure not crying over it. But using the 1st hour to talk about sideshow crap is hilariously bad imo.

Not the Lakers it is the fans and I would make it about data/statistics from the fans that show his increased winning and value vs Spurs declining team vs Suns youth.

Len is probably just as good right now even if he has been disappointing.
The two disappointing parts of Alex's game seem to be staying healthy and out of foul trouble.

I am sure he is doing everything he can to stay healthy, so that is mostly out of his control. Inherent health of his feet will set the tone. Bill Walton learned how to make it work.

And hopefully he can learn how to stay out of foul trouble with help from our new big men's coach.

It would be great if this coming season establishes Len as our Center of the future. The luxury of having Tyson Chandler should take a lot of the pressure off.

And if we can sign LaMarcus Aldridge to lead his team in scoring for, what, the fifth year in a row, that takes pressure off Chandler.

If not, we need a strong, scoring Power Forward to let Chandler be a role-playing Center.

We'll see soon if Aldridge gives the Suns revenge of the coin toss.
