With him (Robinson) being hurt, they would have to offer a injury settlement. If they believe he has something to offer, he may end up on IR when final cuts are made.

Again these are first cuts only. The tough decisions come after this weekend's games.

Agree. He's one of the guys with PS potential. If they consider putting him on the PS, then he'll survive another 5 days

First we have 82 players on the roster not 81. Palapoi is missing from that list. So you need to cut/IR 7 players.

Also Not to sure about McCeriens. He wasnt even injured yet he didnt play in the last preseason game. Not a good sign. When looking for cuts look no further then who was healthy yet still didnt play in the last preseason game. Those that didnt play -

There PUP list isnt on the website which is why he wasnt on there.

Also the NFLE exceptions no longer count since the new CBA made the first cut down number to 75 instead of what it use to be 65.

An injury settlement would probably be cheaper than paying his salary the entire year on IR. After Otis and Stokes were sent packing, I doubt that Robinson has anything to offer. NFLE competition is probably weaker than NCAA.

No.

If Ross was placed on the PUP list once training camp started he wouldnt be able to play for us until Week 9 or half the season.

Injured players dont go straight to the PUP list they have to be designated by the team to go on the list.

By Tuesday but I'm not sure what the official deadline is.

If you start Camp on the PUP list you can come back at any time before the season.

But if you are still on the PUP when the season starts or were place on PUP after training camp then the wait period goes into effect.
