I'm liking what is happening, hopefully we can build on the Mavs game. We can get out and run because we have excellent finishers with Amare, Hill, Barbosa, Jrich. Or if the fast break isn't there we can throw it down to shaq and let him do his thing. We can also post up Jrich if we have a smaller guard on him.

I definitely feel LB has a better grasp of the game this season... probably from all the failed efforts over the years to make him a PG. IMO, his basketball IQ is definitely up.

Barbosa is looking like he is rounding into shape. If we can get Barbosa rolling, Lou continuing to contribute and Barnes out of his funk....the bench might just get better as the season goes on.

The best thing of all is I am liking the balance between running and half court. The Suns never looked so good in half court.

Although that still leaves us with only an 8-man rotation which people complained about last season.

True. However, unlike last season, I think they can get that 9th man using a combo of Lopez, Dudley and whomever they can sign to backup up Nash. If even one of those players gives us any measure of quality minutes even half the time we are probably ahead of last year.

i think we should as well. we have all the speed in the world, if we could run out the other team, it would be great.

Yeah that whole Dragic-Lopez bust thing really put a damper on our complete bench hopes.

How uber would this season be if we drafted Speights with 15 and Chalmers with the nearly 3 million it took to secure dragic!?!

Yeah and if they couldnt have gotten chalmers, Im sure pargo was available for 3 mil as a FA. The suns were criticized widely around the NBA for offering a 3rd string euro PG one of the fattest contracts ever given to a 2nd round pick. Chalmers/pargo plus speichts would have been very nice. I suspect our scouts havent changed much since zarko over david west happened. I mean Griffiths still manages that aspect, right?

its great that they are gradually learning the way to balance the two styles because they are deadly when they do so effectively
