The Tennessee Titans are running through their process of evaluating draft prospects so they can determine who they want to select with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft. Part of that process involves scouting Pro Days held by various universities leading up to the draft. On Monday, Miami University is holding its Pro Day, and the Titans sent a huge delegation to watch top quarterback prospect Cam Ward throw for the first time since the NCAA football season ended.
The Titans didn't make any big moves at the quarterback position during the initial wave of free agency, so it is thought that they will address the position in the draft. Since they have the first overall pick and can choose whichever player they want, it's no surprise that they're closely following the top quarterback prospect in this draft class.
Cam Ward has pulled away from the rest of the draft class in recent weeks, and while the Titans have said they're open to conversation at the top pick, they haven't really entertained the offers that have come through. They're being incredibly quiet on what their plans are for this pick, although we may get some information today after Ward makes his appearance.
Whatever news the Titans release after today will likely give us an indication of what they are thinking about the draft. Or, as has been their M.O. so far, they'll be vague, and we'll be left with no clearer picture than what we have right now.
