Buckey's right - and not just because the "one game at a time" mantra sounds good.
Each game we play from here on out will be a gritty "will we or won't we" kind of contest. We figure to win some and lose some. (Hopefully, we'll win more than we lose). But I don't think we'll be able to accurately predict the outcome of each game. Every one of those contests is likely to be a nailbiter.
This season may be unique in that, to prevail, we'll need to get into a kind of gritty NFC-East "grind it out" mode, put our heads down and just plug away all the time - in the hope that, by season's end, we'll wind up with 9 or 10 wins.
Thinking along that vein - we'll probably lose at least a couple of games we thought we should win. Our key will not to get discouraged, shake those losses off and somehow find a way to win a few games the smart money says we should lose.
In that sense, this season is very much a "one game at a time" kind of deal.
