It's safe to say Michigan State head coach Tom Izzo is not a fan of the transfer portal opening in the middle of the NCAA Tournament.

Izzo met with the media on Tuesday in preparation for this week's Sweet 16 matchup against Ole Miss, and the topic of the transfer portal came up as well. The transfer portal officially opened this week, and a record number of players have already entered their names into it.

As you could imagine, Izzo was not thrilled or remotely interested to talk about the transfer portal -- or as he referred to it as the "urinal" during a five-minute long response. Izzo felt it would do an injustice to his current team and what they have in front of them to remotely think about the future via the transfer portal at this time. Additionally, he said the current system is unfair to the players of the timing of the portal opening, and added that it's impossible for him to even think about the transfer portal at this time with so many unknowns around his roster and program spending opportunities.

You can watch complete response on the transfer portal question from Izzo in the video below.
