Was anyone else aware that Tommy KNight was a sports anchor on ch 5? I never watch ch 5, so maybe Im out the loop here, but I saw him on there after the game last nite.. It was weird seeing him again..

I hope he covers sports better than he covered receivers.

It is always good to see an ex-cardinal cover the games. I am glad that he came back to the dessert.

I just found it odd that Tommy was telling us how to win gmes and what it took.. I mean, really? Tommy Knight giving us the inside scoop to winning? Really?

A few miles north.
You could make an entire coverage crew of former 1st round busts. I'd get Wendall Bryant as a sideline reporter - that is where he spent most of his time afterall.

FWIW--

Tommy Knight is a super nice guy. Smart, articulate, very bright

I guess it wasnt his fault the Cards took him wayyyy too high in the draft (although its a good gig if you can get it)

Tommy Knight did not play that bad but the only problem was he never played due to injury...I hope he doesn't hurt himself picking up a pen or gets a serious papercut.

I like Kevin McCabe, who is a closet Cardinals Fan even if he rags on them. I would classify him as a pistofftimist. Tommy Knight actually outed him on the radio show as a long suffering Cardinals Fan.

Tommy Knight, however, is another story. He really dislikes the Cardinals (hate might be too strong a word). He went on record as calling the season a failure if all the Cardinals did was get to 8-8. His position that higher standards must be demanded is not new, or maybe even without merit, but coming from "Mr. Glass"...hard for me to listen to.
