Parker's former AAU coach with the Atlanta Celtics, Korey McCray, was hired by the Bruins last June.

According to Evan Daniels of Scout.com, by landing Parker, UCLA now has the No. 2 recruiting class in the country behind only Kentucky.

Yeah Brian Snow of Scout keeps saying Parker barely played for McCray. Parker was with the Georgia Stars in AAU, he played a few tourneys for the Atlanta Celtics but Snow said he thinks all but maybe one of those was after UCLA hired McCray.

They've known each other for years and Parker openly said when UCLA started interviewing mcCray if he goes there I'll be interested in UCLA, so it was clearly the connection, but apparently a bit misleading to say Korey was Parker's AAU coach.

We'll see how it works 2 kids from Georgia coming to LA, one of them Adams played for Oak Hill so not being home is normal for him, not Parker though.
