cannot help it fellas,...I am actually excited for this. we all know the game will suck,...but it is still football.
I am actually looking forward to seeing Gabbert...against two's and three's he should light the boys defense up.
I also want to see the various pieces of our offensive line and how they work individually and as a unit.
10 hours to go...it's GAME DAY!!

I'm most excited to see RoNK, Gunther, Mauro and Pierre. Peters and Rucker are solid, but aren't going to create much of a pass rush. If these guys can reach their potential this defense could be filthy.

T.J. Logan is another that I can't wait to see. I watched a few of his tapes from college and came away very impressed. Anybody know if he is returning punts tonight? He didn't at UNC, only because Switzer was there, but he certainly has the skills needed to be a dynamic returner that we need.

I think he is returning kicks for sure and has been practicing with the punt team. Pp21 isn't playing so I wouldn't be surprised

I just want to see one big hit. I don't care if its camp fodder guys or what.

Nothing let's me know it's football season more so than seeing some poor soul get molly-whopped and hearing the whole bar go "Oooohhh" in unison.

Hopefully this is not too much of a caveman take considering the climate these days. I feel like I need to add the disclaimer that I obviously hope no one gets hurt or injured, on either side.

I'm with you

The violence is a big part of why we watch. No shame in that.

I can't wait for the home primetime game against Jerry's felons. Ticket prices are already through the roof, and rightfully so. It's gonna be a battle for the ages. And whatever you do kids, don't sell your tickets and let them slip into the greasy hands of Cowboys fans.

Man, I hope we crush them. That is a game that would really suck if we lost.

No. NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO.

This is not the game that makes or breaks this season. The Monday night game at Arizona against the Cow-bastards is the game that would really suck if we lost.

We lose the Monday night game and 5 Lombardi's in a row won't make that pain go away.

This would just be a minor annoyance....it would suck, but not as bad as the impending mental breakdown that is the Monday night game this year.

yeah....that first big snot knocker gets the season going for me too.

I guess I aint as civilized as you are...because I love to see a dude get knocked out cold and carted off.... obviously the preference is for it to not be a permanent injury... but I really enjoy a good temporary crippler

As my two-year-old would say, "Hooray, football!" Can't wait to see our guys in action tonight.

Can't wait. 4+ hours away.

We can now look forward to for the most part weekly games from now until the beginning of January, and hopefully February ;)

Really interested in our rookies and overall our young guys that have previously either struggled or shown nothing.

In other news, the Jaguars just lost their long snapper.

CC might have a front seat to two seasons in a row of special teams disasters.
