Top Oklahoma RB Whaley taken off on cart (AP)

No. 11 Oklahoma lost top running back Dominique Whaley on the first play of Saturday's game against 10th-ranked Kansas State with an injury to his left leg. Whaley was blocking on a run by Roy Finch when he was rolled over in the backfield. The Sooners' leading rusher appeared in obvious pain while several trainers and Kansas State coach Bill Snyder came out to check on him.
