Caroline Wozniacki cruised into the second round of the U.S. Open on Tuesday as the top-seeded Dane again seeks her first major title. Wozniacki beat Nuria Llagostera Vives of Spain 6-3, 6-1 in an hour, 20 minutes. She won last weekend at New Haven to regain some momentum heading into the Open. Wozniacki broke for the fourth time to clinch the match.
