Baseball​


Greater Johnstown 5, Rockwood 3: Max Trimpey tallied two hits and two RBIs for the Rockets in a setback to the Trojans.

Softball​


Shade-Shanksville sweeps Forbes Road in dh: Payton Maddy and Kaylee Jamison each had two hits and three RBIs while Patty Kovacs added a pair of hits and RBIs for the Panthers in a 15-3, 6-inning triumph.

Maddy allowed three unearned runs on four hits and struck out seven.

Jaedyn Krupper provided three hits and four RBIs in Game 2 to lift Shade-Shanksville to a 15-11 victory.

Maddy drove in three runs while Kovacs, Lindsay Frazier and Tori Bowers, who homered, each provided two RBIs. Jamison struck out seven over five innings.
