Tottenham Hotspur have not held talks over Fabio Paratici returning to a full-time position at the club once his worldwide ban ends.

Paritici resigned from his job as managing director of football last April after being banned from working within football for his role in alleged false accounting at his former club Juventus. That suspension is due to end at the end of June and Paratici has been linked with returning to making a full-time return to football at a host of clubs including Juventus, AC Milan and Tottenham.

Paratici has been able to be used as a consultant by chairman Daniel Levy and Tottenham during his ban and has remained a visitor to the club’s games. He has assisted Tottenham in the transfer window since resigning, but his influence is said to have decreased since the arrivals of Scott Munn as chief football officer and technical director Johan Lange.

Tottenham and Paratici have not commented on reports he could return to a full-time job at the club this summer, but well-placed sources have told Telegraph Sport there have been no discussions over the subject.

Lange arrived at Spurs as the club’s technical director in October 2023, while Munn officially started in his role, overseeing Tottenham’s football operations, towards the end of September of the same year after his start date was delayed. Rob Mackenzie also rejoined the club as chief scout following Paratici’s resignation after Leonardo Gabbanini, who was hired by Paratici, was sacked. Paratici is understood to be keen to make a swift return to a full-time job in football once his ban ends and has been eyeing up a range of potential possibilities.

Tottenham are braced for the possibility of another summer of change with head coach Ange Postecoglou heading into the final two months of the season under pressure.

Telegraph Sport first exclusively reported on March 17 that Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola and Fulham’s Marco Silva will be among the leading candidates to succeed Postecoglou if Tottenham feel forced into making a change.
