So, Todd Haley took the HC position in KC.
Anquan Boldin is saying the chances he will re-sign and be back are very slim to none.
Edge has already packed up and left.
And with Haley and Boldin our of the picture, it is not looking good for his return to football, let alone the Cardinals.

Those are really tough pills to swallow, but you can't be shocked. Not one of those situation has not been discussed in public, out in the media.
To say this is 1999 all over again, well history gives a lot of examples that we could see a this whole team vanish. But to counter that with some positive thoughts, we finally have the new stadium, the Bidwills/Graves have shown the ability to get more done in the past (personally I think they still have to improve in that area), and the biggest factor is Whiz.
Whiz is huge. Whiz is why Edge is gone, and Boldin may be next. It is HIS TEAM, no inmates running the asylum here. And if there is one thing I know "In Whiz I trust".
This is the worst part of the offseaon, especially after such a great year, because players, and coaches start leaving. It will be hard, and even harder to listen to a few departing jabs from some players.
Haley will probably be the only coach the Cardinals lose, and Whiz is an offensive coach himself. I think he will find the right guy for the job. Maybe Jason Garret ? Since the Cowboys are a bit of a circus right now I would keep eyes on him, or a coach that runs the power running/vertical passing game attack. Haley really deserves his shot at being a head coach, and it is in KC where it really won't effect us. Best of luck to him.
As for players this is Ken Whizenhunt's team, not Denny Greens. If Warner doesn't return things are going to change. This team is going to start running the ball, and hell or highwater it is going to work. Furthermore, a guy like Antonio Smith is a Denny guy, a player who I really like, and will miss, but it would make sense that Whiz would be OK with him leaving and starting one of his guys, Campbell in his place. As I said, Whizenhunt is going to start putting his stamp, on his team, for his philosphies, so he can run his system.
That all being said. I hate to see Boldin go because I enjoy watching him play as Cardinal. He has given us all some great mememories, and the only thing worth the price of admission for a while. Edge ran well for us, and leaves a hole at the RB position but I think it is best for both sides.
And this list will get longer as the offseason goes on. It will be painfull, but we got to remember that we have a good core of players, and it is always out with the old and in with the new in the NFL. So, while this time is hard pill to swallow, it will be balanced with the excitement of new player coming in later this year.
Just hope we make the right decsions to re-load and not re-build.
