Heres a few reasons why I would not be against trading Boldin.
1) History of injuries, while all players are one play from retirement, Boldin is the walking definition of this. If you were the GM of a pro team, you would be crazy to give a player with his injury history the kind of money he and his agent are demanding.
2) Anytime you hire Rosenhaus, you are sending a message to the folks with the purse strings, SHOW ME THE MONEY, and then some. I agree he deserves a raise, but nothing like the figures they are demanding. Q is dead wrong at turning down the supposed 15 million guaranteed by the Cards. He has zero leverage in this matter.
3) Q and Fitz are clones at the WR position. One may argue who is better, or potentially better, the cards have a need for a true burner at one of these positions. Maybe Johnson will finally emerge this year, maybe not, but this group of WR's is to one dementional. Secondaries do not fear our deep threat, and will keep everything in front of them with tight man to man.
4) Get some value for him to help the overall team. If we were only 1-2 guys away, I wouldn't trade him. But we are several, and one player does not a team make.

Thats my 2 cents. Fire away.

It's a fair offer. I gotta agree.

I think it's interesting to see the board just becoming more realistic and realizing that one man does not a team make.

That's what happens when you turn your nose up at $15 million.
Really? I think we all need to step back cause none of us have a clue if this is true or not.

True. It hasn't been substantiated yet and, for the record, I hope he isn't traded.

I can accept it if Anquan gets traded I want whats best for the team. This is business and we need to turn around this team one way or another.

I could see them (Cards) offering that though. I know they've wanted to get this deal done. So does Boldin. Supposedly. We'll see.

Does anyone think that's not enough?

I hear soooooooooo much from players now , how professional sports are a buisness FIRST. How refreshing to hear the fans turn it on the pros finally.

You're right. We love the guy. But we pay the salaries ultimately. We know whats fair. If the offers legit. He should take it or move on. We in turn can and will move on.

This is exactly how I feel about the situation.

I should make it my sig, so I don't have to repeat it over and over again until:

1. He signs,
2. He is traded
3. I change my mind.
