Would either of those teams be interested in absorbing a bad contract if the Bobcats won't? Would the number 7 pick and someone like Casey Jacobsen be enough for the Jazz to be willing to take on a contract like Eisley? Utah is historically not the best at luring free agents. However, they do tend to draft somewhat well and Sloan can turn bench warmers into role players.
Would Atlanta take Marion and Eisley for their draft pick? Dunno, just an idea.
The question of course, even if either team agreed, is whether the extra cap space would produce more output down the line than the number seven pick would have, or Shawn Marion would have.
