I haven't been able to keep track of which players were part of which trades. Maybe I'm the only one, but in case I'm not:

Trade #1

Miami gets
Goran Dragic
Zoran Dragic

Phoenix gets
2017 MIA pick (top-7 protected, but what happens if the Suns don't get it right away?)
2021 MIA pick
Danny Granger
John Salmons (via NOP)

(minor MIA-NOP shuffling as well)

Trade #2

Philadelphia gets
2015 LAL pick (top-5 protected, top-3 protected 2016, unprotected 2017)

Milwaukee gets
Michael Carter-Williams
Miles Plumlee
Tyler Ennis

Phoenix gets
Brandon Knight

Trade #3

Boston gets
Isaiah Thomas

Phoenix gets
Marcus Thornton
2016 CLE pick (top-10 protected, top-10 protected 2017, top-10 protected 2018, unprotected 2019)

That LA pick was horrible to give up. It could be number 4 next year and no worse than top 10. The Lakers are going to suck for as long as Kobe is there. No one wants to play with him at this point in his career. And for a point guard that could amount to a rental. Where is the balancing of the roster? We brought in more guards and actually lost a big with Plumlee getting shipped. SMH FML

What happens to the LAL pick if it isn't acquired next season either? Does it turn into 2nd rd picks or is it unprotected?

Folks can continue to be upset over the LA pick, but I highly doubt anyone selected 6-10 in the next draft will be better than Knight. The Suns have a ton of youth. Getting the Miami picks, spread out and largely unprotected, keeps the influx of talent through the draft coming in over the next several years. That 2021 unprotected pick seems far off and nothing today, but it could turn into huge value.

I don't know if trading the LA pick was the smart move or not but I'd bet we never see the Miami picks. I'd imagine we'll hold them for a season or two until we find the deal that appeals to us and we will move them along at that time. They are cash in the bank though and that's all we care about.

You think Sarver reverts to his draft pick selling ways?

I kid, I kid...
