Trail Blazers @ Suns Wednesday game thread 3-2-2022

After losing the first two games of their four game home stand the Suns have a chance to right the ship when the Trail Blazers visit on Wednesday.

Trail Blazers are 25-36 and are 4-6 in their last ten games.

Suns are 49-12 and 8-2 in their last ten games.

The game will be televised on Bally Sports Arizona and ESPN.

Start time is scheduled for 8 p.m. Arizona time.

Suns play the Knicks on Friday before heading out on the road.

They play @ Bucks on Sunday, @ Magic on Tuesday and @ the Heat on Wednesday.

I suspect we will have gone 4-4 at the end of the heat game. Not promising post-cp3 injury as I suspect it means GS will likely have made up 2 more games on us (or 3). That would put us up 3-4 games with 16 left to play. Three games would be a slim enough margin to put the 1 seed at risk.

I really don’t get is sitting on our hands once CP3 went out with injury, especially considering Payton sucks a golf ball through a garden hose and Payne’s injury continues to be a mysterious lingering problem.
