From the producers of The Da Vinci Code, Project Runway and Top Chef.

In this fast-paced adventure reality series, multi-player teams try to stay one step ahead of each other as they are mentally and physically challenged in their quest of a promised hidden treasure. The teams must avoid elimination as they travel to historically significant locations where they must decipher cryptic codes and puzzles, each with a clue leading them closer to solving the ultimate puzzle, and obtaining the coveted grand prize.

See the teams here: http://www.nbc.com/Treasure_Hunters/teams/

There's also a trailer on that page.

Interesting.

Sounds like a more intellectual version of Amazing Race(which is starting to get really boring to me)

Treasure Hunt

Anyone see the preview for this...?

Looks like a sort of Amazing Race + Da Vinci code reality show...

Not sure when it starts, but sure looks intriguing....

You know what, I searched "Treasure Hunt" which didn't show it, but then I did "Treasure Hunters" and it did.

That's lame...

Anybody else watching?

So far disappointed, I really dislike the host he comes off as very mean, almost robotic voice. The teams aren't exactly great either although the Wild Hanlons deserve some sort of prize for being the dumbest people in the history of Reality TV.

That grad student girl really seemed to mess up her knee last night, will be interesting to see how long she guts it out.

The worst was the family who had the Southie Boys carry their canoe for several miles, and then ditched them to get ahead. What goes around comes around.

We never finished the first episode, mostly for the reasons you said...the host sucks big time.

Just boring...totally boring.

The guy with the mullet from hell is just beyond funny. I think he's the only reason I'm still watching the show. Takes them 11 hours in the mine, then they can't decode the sign so they break for a hamburger. Even the kid said in the middle of an elimination round we're going 40 miles out of our way for food?

But to their credit, they weren't eliminated.

The Wild Hanlons are pretty much the only entertaining group of the bunch so far.

The preacher's family is starting to become some serious antagonists. Those guys have screwed over somebody in each episode.

The previews for next week showed the Brown family having a bit of words with the Hanlons. I wonder what's up with that? The Browns were eliminated.

Those guys are classic! The uncle is always going overboard. "if you divide the # of rocks by 2, then divide by the number of idiots in our team I think the answer is there somewhere."

Seriously those guys leave no stone unturned literally. I almost died laughing when they started digging the rock in the mine.

Sucks that the one Grad student messed up her ankle. Looks like they are out and the Brown family is back in.

I'm guessing that the Grad students couldn't go on (one with messed up ankle) so they let the Brown family back in.

I couldn't believe that the Southie boys helped that family. I would have left them in my dust. I thought it was classic how they ditched the Southies later on.

That preacher is a total scoundral. First he steals that clue during the snorkling event, then he duped those two teams.
