Trevor Scott, anyone?

Tampa just released this guy. I watched him last year as a member of the Patriots and the previous 3 years as a Raider. Kind of a one trick pony, but that trick is rushing the passer. He has(had?) pretty good speed and burst off the edge. Seeing that the Cards have a definite need for edge rushers, I think he might fit the bill. With all the injuries the Cards have had at OLB, they are down to Shaughnessy, Abraham and a couple of waiver wire pick ups. Although Scott isn't the run stopper Shaughnessy is, he is faster off the edge. Abraham up until the past couple weeks looked like the tank was empty. Hopefully he continues to show what he has showed the last 2 weeks but I think Scott could help out in rotation. Any thoughts?
