I agree that its truly ridiculous but when you consider the Rod Graves effect, nothing is truly ridiculous.

The Eagles have done the most MASTERFUL job of overhyping Kolb than I have ever seen. From Andy Reid saying that Kolb makes a team an "instant contender" on, the Eagles have to be sitting behind the scene laughing at how hyped this unproven player is. I can see the Eagles owner telling AR; "Can you imagine if some idiot is gullible enough to give us a 1st and 2nd rounder? This is gonna be hilarious."

If we get a Veteran QB that works out this year, Whiz needs to do this with Skelton or Hall next offseason.

"Uhhh yeah, Max is the next Drew Brees forsure, he's going to make a team an instant SuperBowl contender! I sure hate to see him go but he's going to the Hall Of Fame regardless!" Who knows, maybe it will work.

It used to be you couldn't trade a draft pick until after a certain date. That's why teams on draft day trade the pick not the player like they do in the NBA.

Did they change that rule or is it because of the lockout?

How could anyone really believe the Cards would trade Peterson AND a #2 for this guy? I've been a Cards fan since 1956 and if they did that, I don't think I'd watch another game

Yeah, that rumor was floating around for a while.

That trade would make no sense in that 1. Cards fans would riot and 2. the Card likely could have gotten a much better deal for the 5th pick on draft day, so, if they weren't interested in Peterson, then why not take one of the trades offered?

I don't like the idea of trading DCR and a second for Kolb. I sure as hell don't buy into the Cardinals front office being dense enough to trade Peterson and a pick for him.

I'd trade a second rounder for him, if that. Certainly not DRC, let alone Peterson. This was written by some delusional Philly fan.

a 2nd round would be fair, 2nd plus lower round like a 5th or nonimpact player at a maximum.

I would be surprised if Max is on the roster come week 1..
