Crawled Through 5 FB Fields
BA was lauding a couple of the tryout players, saying that he could see the Cardinals "swapping them out" with a couple of the rookies who hadn't shown much in OTAs.
Here are some of the players I think BA might be talking about:
1. RB Damien Thigpen, UCLA. Has Juke-type attributes as a fast, quick RB receiver. He actually is a good blocker in pass pro too. Better still, he's an outstanding gunner on STs. Check this video to see for yourself:

2. OLB Calvin Fance, Angelo St. Starred with the Philadelphia Soul last year (may have been recommended to the Cardinals by teammate G Christian Johnson)---is undersized, but extremely quick.
3. DE/OLB Keenan Graham, UCLA. Was a pass rusher in sub packages at UCLA, who showed a penchant inside and outside for shedding his blocker and getting to the QB. Not as cat-quick as Fance, but is stronger. Uncanny rusher from the inside, for a player 6-1, 256.
4. CB Jimmy Legree, South Carolina. Has the feet, instincts and strength to play nickel CB. Had solid career at South Carolina.
5. ILB Kyle Tudor, East Carolina. What stands out is how well Tudor keeps his feet moving and how quick he is to sniff out a play. Not superior athlete, per se. But, shows good ability, technique and awareness in pass coverage. Plays smart and in control.
6. LB Simoni Lawrence, Minnesota. He's played some games in the NFL. Smallish, but is an aggressive attack-type defender who can get to the ball in a hurry. Saw him make one play that reminded me of the spectacular game sealing interception Navarro Bowman made versus the falcons on MNF, where Lawrence worked his way into a passing lane, batted the ball, caught the rebound and took it almost to the house.
7. T/G Jarian Moreland, Southern Illinois. FAMU 5th year eligible whom the coaches at SIU raved about and touted as an NFL prospect at LT. Has battled injuries, through high school and college, but performed at a high level for the Salukis. Late bloomer type. Has big frame 6-6, 320, solid feet and big strong hands. Not a natural bender---which may mean he will need to be switched inside to G.
8. WR Jeremy Ebert, Northwestern. Heard he might have been injured yesterday or the day before, but the Pats drafted him a couple years ago and he is a Julian Edelman type of player. Slippery, sure-handed and highly competitive. Not a burner, but is a crisp route runner who can thrive in a timing passing game.
