McGwire or Grace. Which to forgive for their past indiscretions.

With Tony La Russa calling the shots, it would of course be McGwire.

As little respect as I have for Mark Grace's common sense, I think I would rather have him (a singles and doubles hitter) than McGwire (a home run hitter) training and re-training our offense. I hate seeing pop-ups.

I do see that the Dodgers had 187 regular season HR's under McGwire last season while the D-backs had 154 under Ward and Grace.

FWIW, Grace was highly regarded with the Hops last season. They said he is at his best with a bat in his hand talking baseball.

Forgive my greediness, but I would love to have BOTH Grace and McGwire, if that would have any shot in hell at working. Our great small ball hitting this year had a ton to do with Grace, but having a guy to stack in who can instruct in the long ball on top of that would be fantastic.
