so this is the TV coverage map from yesterday's game--

for the most part, the areas make sense --- AZ and Michigan, plus SF and Seattle territory for the game

but what about that little blotch of blue in SE Kansas?

That would be the coverage area around Pittsburg, Kansas -- home of Pittsburg St.

Cool map. Once the Packers were blowing Philly out they switched some of those areas to our game.

What's up with the NE corner of Arizona not carrying the game from the team named for the state? Is that area inundated with residents from Wisconsin and Philly? Also, the SE corner of Idaho too? Who makes this up?

thats Navajo indian reservation -- i suspect their local tv comes via Farmington, NM (repeats Albuquerque, NM or Denver, CO)

long ago true story: Maybe 15 years ago, I was driving from Phoenix to Durango, Co for thanksgiving one year.

As I drive across the reservation, I find the Navajo language radio broadcast of the Cards vs Philly game. I could actually follow the game via voice inflection, player names and the occasional english word (touchdown!)

I miss having the NFL package--can't have it at my apartment and so far the Cardinals rarely get broadcast here in Chicago (except the Cowboys game) so I have to go out to a bar that has all the games. I go to Harry Carays bar in Chicago for the game every week. The one time I went to a different Chicago bar they lost to Denver--I am not superstitious all the time but I will continue to go to Harry Carays until the Cards lose.

Can I just vent here that Ronde Barber is not very good? I mean I think this is just his first or second year in the chair, and he'll maybe get better as he gets more experience. But damn he's awful right now. Matt Hasselback just having fun was way better.

Can't think of one useful piece that Barber added to the broadcast yesterday.

Have you checked on possible eligibility for nflsundayticket.tv? They say "select apartment complexes", so it may depend on your landlord making an arrangement, but get them to make an arrangement.

Exactly what I was going to say. He's terrible and IMO, he openly roots against the Cardinals in games he covers. All he did yesterday was talk about how the Lions were just making mistakes and how they needed to do this and that to win, he never gives the Cardinals credit. He called Larry Fitzgerald Patrick Fitzgerald and Michael Fitzgerald in consecutive weeks.

It's a total flipping joke that PHI@GB got Fox's #1 broadcast team over ARI DET. Just yet another show of disrespect for the Cardinals and what they are doing this year, and not just us, the Lions too. If the Girls and the Whiners were playing this week for the #1 record you can bet it would be a national event, ESPN would be on site all week hyping up the game. When the Cardinals are involved they have better crap to talk about. I'm glad that game turned into a laugher in GB.
