Twins activate and start 2B Hudson (AP)

Orlando Hudson was activated from the disabled list and back in the Minnesota Twins lineup. The second baseman, sidelined since July 24 by a strained right oblique muscle, batted second Sunday against the Cleveland Indians. Right-hander Anthony Slama was optioned to Triple-A Rochester to create roster room for Hudson, who has hit .285 with four homers, 27 RBI and 53 runs in 80 games.
