Twins SS Hardy on DL with wrist injury (AP)

The Minnesota Twins have placed shortstop J.J. Hardy on the 15-day disabled list with a bruised left wrist. The Twins made the move before Tuesday's game against the Chicago White Sox, retroactive to last Wednesday. Hardy is eligible to be activated May 20, the day before Minnesota begins a three-game series at Target Field against Hardy's old team, the Milwaukee Brewers.
