The Arizona Cardinals' John Skelton has become the first player since Green Bay's Aaron Rodgers in 2008 to take two safeties in one game.

Just saying. :D

Safeties in consecutive plays. I bet that has never happened before.

When the Rams punted in OT, I figured we were staring straight down the barrel of a third safety. But then PP21 intervened!

Did I hear the announcers say it was the first time ever in an NFL game that a team scored 4 points in one quarter?

now if he can just duplicate the passing stats we'll be in good shape.

I can honestly say that i would rather have 2 safties there than throw two picks if he could not find anyone open.

Paper says Kordell did it too but not in the same quarter.

Only one man pulls off the double deuce.

Consecutive plays, same quarter. There is no one else that has pulled off a double deuce.

And if any players pulls off a triple deuce, my money is on the fact it will be a Cardinals player.

Double ____ing Deuce.

Key to the game in my opinion. Threw the Rams off, got them out of there game.

Double Deuce is football's rope a dope.

John "Double Deuce" Skelton.

Start' em this week, start him every week.

DOUBLE DEUCE !

It was the first time a team scored 4 points in one quarter.

So we all know that our OTs suck but shouldn't the QB and OC know that as well?

Where is the safety valve on these plays?

Why can't our QBs get rid of the ball like they should in these situations?

What exactly is Chris Miller teaching these guys?

I have never seen so many unnecessary sacks taken like we have this year.

We might be better off if it were Chris Chandler teaching these guys. If anyone knows how to play QB on bad football teams he does.

I love the double deuce.

After watching the replay the first thought is that this could only happen to the Cardinals, it's now enshrined in the lore.

It's a web of suckitude and abnormality that endears the team to me.

Who wouldn't love a team that had two safties a backup QB starting and won a game the same day another entrant in the Luck sweepstakes won one?

The cosmos is Lucy to this teams Charlie Brown, you just have to love them.

It's like they said I pooh on the Luck sweepstakes we already suck, and Luck couldn't handle this, no way he'd be out of football in a year.

Destiny says that we'll never get a player like luck, we follow a different drummer, one heartbeat, we blew this together.

Ha... I meant Miller. I always get those two mixed up for some reason. Thanks

I love the double deuce.

So do I.

I laughed for almost 2 hrs straight after it happened.

Just when you have thought you have see the end of the futility spectrum, you get the double deuce.

How many Cardinals' fans in unison where saying to themselves, on the second safety, when Skelton dropped back, "Just don't take another safety."

And it still happened. Double Deuce.

50 years from now whenever some team loses, or does something in the name of futility people will be in shock, and awe of the situation. They will check the record books to "make sure" it has never been done before, there will be the Cardinals name, and stat as bad or worse staring at them.

But, really, I think it was such a happening, that it won us the game.

Seriously ? 2 safeties, in two consecutive offensive plays ?

You can't even do that on Madden !!!

Double Deuce. Mark it down. 2 offensive plays, 2 safeties. It will never happen again.
