INDIANAPOLIS -- The Pacers will get three of the four starters who missed Monday night's game against the Timberwolves back for Wednesday night's game against the Mavericks, but All-Star point guard Tyrese Haliburton will miss a second straight game with lower back soreness, Pacers coach Rick Carlisle said in his pre-game press conference.
All-Star forward Pascal Siakam is back after missing Monday's game for personal reasons. He was listed as questionable on the injury report. Forward Aaron Nesmith (left ankle injury management) and center Myles Turner (left hip contusion) were out Monday but were not listed on the injury report Tuesday. Bench forwards Jarace Walker (right ankle sprain) and Johnny Furphy (illness) were listed as questionable on the injury, but they are available.
Carlisle said Haliburton suffered the injury Saturday against the Bucks.
"This is something, he had an awkward fall in the Milwaukee game," Carlisle said. "We know when it happened. He's improving. He's just not there yet."
Haliburton is averaging 18.5 points and 9.0 assists per game this season.
