Tuitama looks about as accurate as John Navarre in the first half. Louis Holmes sure looks like the real deal though.

A running game would go a long way. Tuitama looked to be getting more comfortable as the half went on. It would be nice to see the Cats march downt he field and score a TD to open the half.

Defense is looking spectacular. Besides some missed tackles, it's looking like the Desert Swarm of old, back when I was a student.

Big win against a really good offense. BYU's QB is definitely the real deal.

Great kick by Folk.

but, what the heck was with the offensive playcalling at the end of the game?!?!

why not try to get your kicker closer?

I think their playcalling was bad because their time management was so horrendous. I mean what were they thinking letting 15-20 seconds tick off the clock with 30 seconds to play? And moving backwards every play?

Even though the offense stunk it up, the defense looks very good. Holmes is going to be a load for teams to stop. We have to remember that this is the first game and there is a lot of improvememnt ahead.

The Cats would of lost this game if it was last year. The team is still young but they are maturing with close game experience.

I think that they figured you are at home and they didn't want to turn over the ball like they would have in years past. That and Stoops has the utmost confidence in Folk. At worst if he misses it is they go to OT with homefield advantage.
I was at the game though and the atmosphere was great. The fourth quarter was great.

Was at the game last night and I must say, that stadium was rocking. The offense looked flat out confused most of the game but the defense really played great. They did miss a few tackles but overall, against an offense like BYU's, I was happy with how the defense played. BYU isn't kept to 13 points very often. I'm concerned with the offense though. Chris Henry didn't look very spectacular other than that 53 yard run he had. The receivers dropped too many balls and Willie looked a little iffy on some of his throws. I'll chalk it up to first game jitters. The offense better get their act together before they head up to LSU if they want to make a game of it.
