Springtime is an important one for UCF's football program, not only in preparation of the season ahead but also in laying the foundation through high school recruiting.

Dozens of prospective athletes have attended the Knights' first five practices under returning head coach Scott Frost, getting an exclusive look at the rebuilt team and making connections with its reshaped coaching staff.

To this point, UCF has landed three verbal commitments for the 2026 cycle — including the addition of an out-of-state offensive lineman Thursday.

Let's take a quick look at each of the Knights' commits to date, including their measurables, rankings and accolades.

He's been a tackling machine at the prep level, credited with 421 combined over the last two seasons at Ocoee with 91 TFLs and 50 sacks. A frequent visitor during spring ball, McClenton plans to take official visits in June to Florida International and Appalachian State ahead of his weekend with the Knights.

Since position coach Shawn Clark's arrival, the Knights have aggressively added youth and depth on the O-line, signing three impending high school graduates during the February period.
