I found this interesting, almost like what Green is doing with the Cards. Reports are out about pickup games over the weekend on campus at UCLA. Farmar is reportedly up to 184 pounds, he was ~ 165 when UCLA lost to Texas Tech just over 2 months ago. Shipp has packed on 12 pounds, and apparently several other players are noticeably stronger too.
I'm a little leery of a kid gaining 19 pounds as quickly as Farmar has but he clearly needed to get stronger and assuming he's not just eating creatine pancakes or hanging out at Balco I would assume this is really going to help him as a player.
What do you think, can a 19 year old athlete pack on 19 pounds of muscle that quickly and do it in a healthy fashion?
