Tung was entrusted in net during the Huskies’ NCAA Tournament run, in which they defeated Quinnipiac 4-1 and lost to Penn State, 3-2, in an overtime heartbreaker in the regional final on Sunday.

The freshman went 10-4-1 with a .933 save percentage and a 2.01 goals against average on the season, and was named to the Hockey East All-Rookie team. He split time with junior Tyler Muszelik during the regular season.
