Paige Bueckers plans on entering the 2025 WNBA Draft, according to a report from ESPN's Rebecca Lobo.

Bueckers told Lobo, a former UConn star herself, of her intention to enter the draft but has not officially declared for the draft yet. Bueckers is projected by most outlets to be the No. 1 overall pick, which the Dallas Wings own following the draft lottery in December.

She has one year of NCAA eligibility left per COVID-19 eligibility rules but recently told reporters the 2024-25 season would be her last in college.

As Dallas was not her preferred landing spot, some speculated that she would sit out the upcoming WNBA draft, which is scheduled for Monday, April 14.

The 2025 Big East Player of the Year averaged 19.2 points on 54.2% shooting, with 4.8 assists and 4.4 rebounds for the Huskies so far this season as a redshirt senior. No. 2 seed UConn takes on No. 3 seed Oklahoma in the Sweet 16 at 5:30 p.m. ET Saturday in Birmingham, Alabama.

Bueckers is seeking her first national championship with the Huskies and the program's first since 2016. She is the fastest player in program history to reach 2,000 career points (102 games) and scored her 1,000th in her 55th career game, which tied Maya Moore as the fastest Huskie to the milestone.
