Interesting story about how Carson has battled through injuries to achieve his goals. Sounds like a tough dude.

excerpt:

Heading into his senior season, Carson had yet to win a wrestling state title.

He came close in his sophomore year, when Stout said Carson put on a show nobody expected, making it to the finals.

Carson found out after the season that he competed on a torn meniscus.

A little less than two years later, Carson once again overcame injury, this time back surgery, and started training to meet his goal of a state championship.
And Stout said no obstacle would prove too much for Carson in his pursuit of a state championship.

“From the minute he stepped foot in the wrestling room and started training, he wanted to be a state champion and there was really nothing that was going to stand in his way of accomplishing that goal and that’s exactly what he did,” Stout said.

Carson won the ever-elusive state title, and he did it with a herniated disk and pinched nerve.

I love this signing too. He has a real chance to make the roster, and even contribute.

I also love being quoted so much in the article :D

They call it LinebackerU for a reason, many good LBs come out of PSU. Does the name Navarro Bowman ring a bell? Shawn Lee, Paul Posluszny, etc. Carson is a solid inside LB.
