'Uecker Trip' dress-up theme the latest in great Brewers airplane attire

The Milwaukee Brewers gave a fittingly humorous nod to their Hall of Fame radio broadcaster in a thematic dress-up occasion on the Sunday flight to Pittsburgh. Players and staff wore, shall we say, "colorful" sport coats in tribute to some of those worn by Bob Uecker in his famous Lite Beer ads as well as The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. Uecker became known for those rather loud sport coats, so players and staff were encouraged to find some gaudy ones to wear on the charter flight. Brewers players and staff also donned T-shirts featuring Uecker in one of his more infamous photographs for "Uecker Trip."
