Ivan should have never been let go to begin with. He'll have his way with Terry Martin.

Tonight's the night!!!

This is the mother of all UFC's to this point!

As the UFC grows and the subplots and storylines evolve, it just gets better and better!!!

Cox finally has PPV in HD and this event is in HD.
I've got it ordered and I'm ready, it's been a while since I've watched UFC.

Im so glad Rampage knocked the hell outta chuck. I dont believe Rampage is fighting Hollywood Henderson now. That guy is a beast but i think Rampage will take him. Good PPV in all, the one in July is going to be the best ever and the card is 10 times better than this one was.

Wow!!!

That punch that KO'd Liddell was pure skill! It was such a fluid and circular motion all in one single beautiful motion! Great KO by Jackson!!!

Houston was an animal! I don't think I have ever seen someone knock someone out with a single short punch like that! The ref let that one ride a bit because Jardine was damn near OUT on that first short punch but he ate like 10 more before the ref said "Enough!". What was the backstory behind the showboating over Jardine, though? I gotta see this guy fight again, but as of right now, it seems this guy could become a force at 205.

I LOVED Din calling out Mayweather and all the boxers. He threw teh gauntlet down, so let's see if these damned boxing p*ssies are man enough to accept the challenge.

Salaverry is such a damned smart fighter! It's a shame he got KO'd like that, but those are the breaks. He was really working to get that sub.

Marrero physically looked great! He needs to be at 205, but unfortunately it won't be in the UFC anymore. Gouveia absolutely shredded Marrero's leg with those kicks. I don't think I have ever seen someone damn near KO someone with a leg kick :)) slightly exaggerating).

Karo was in typical form last night. He was so damned quick in getting in a quick combo and getting out just inches before Burkman's punches came by. It was like he had some kind of precognition going on, but it's just how quick he is and how smart he is as a fighter. He was in GREAT cardio whereas Burkman was looking up at the clock and down behind his feet (what was that all about?) from the middle of the 1st.

Starnes won a decision unanimously that really could have gone either way, IMO. Starnes really stayed within himself and finished out rounds well, so I think that ultimately tipped the decision in his favor. Leben started out 5-0, but he's, what, 1-3 since. He'll really need to step up to keep a spot in the UFC. Normally, I think he'd be gone, but he's such a fan favorite that they'll give him another chance, but I'm not so sure about two chances.

Anyone know the word on the "Injury" that cause a stoppage in the Silva-Irvin fight?

Oh, Salmon lost so he is a goner. I really don't know why they brought him around, but his chance is over anyways....

I told some friends the other day Liddell was going to lose and they wanted to bet me. I should of taken the bet. Liddell is up there in age and he was doing too many appearances and stuff. It kind of reminded me of Rocky when Rocky got knocked out by Mr. T.(Clubber Lang):p

THIS ONE IS FOR YOU KOC. TIM WE DID IT.
So anyways....... What happened to Keith Jardene last night? I didnt get to the bar until after he fought. I heard he got his ass handed to him which is too bad. Against Forest he looked like he could really swing those things.

Jardine talked massive crap about how Alexander wasn't "in his class" and griped about how he should be fighting for the title against Chuck, not against some "nobody". Alexander posing over him was more of a "who's a nobody now chump" taunt.

Marerro and Salmon will be in WEC (the farm system for UFC so to speak.) I know Melo stated that Dana wants him to go to WEC to get some more experience. I've heard the same of Salmon.

Irvin tore his ACL and MCL falling while in the clinch. It was nasty and ugly as anything I've ever seen.

I'd give a description, but this speaks for itself.

So I was listening to Glen Parker on the radio here in Tucson and he is a huge MMA fan. He said that any really knowledgeable MMA fan knows that Pride fighters are better than UFC fighters. I think the top Pride fighters are very good but Pride isn't as deep with talent as the UFC. I know Pride got bought out but just wanted to know what you guys think.
