Writer/director Len Wiseman, whose Underworld: Evolution will be released on January 20, tells Sci Fi Wire he's got plenty of ideas for a third installment.

"Yeah, we have piles and piles of notes and everything," Wiseman said. "We sort of mapped out an entire history and story that we then went into and decided which ... one will embody the first film, second film, third film. ... What it is, more so than three scripts, it is a massive collection of ideas and stories that we're putting out at certain times."

No Third Underworld for Beckinsale

MTV talked to Underworld and Underworld: Evolution star Kate Beckinsale, who says she's not starring in the third installment:

Beckinsale also revealed she will not star in the next "Underworld" movie, which husband Len Wiseman is developing.

"I think it's a prequel before I'm actually in it, so I think that won't include me if it happens," she said.

I don't go to the movies that often anymore so it takes a really good movie or a freak non busy weekend with the wife and kids. So, I probably won't see this until the DVD comes out.

Great flick!!!! I thought the Deathdealers were a little to weak but other than that loved it... It was also cool they brought back actors from the orginal two to play parts in this movie.
