When do teams have to announce the players they are not protecting?

I keep thinking it is Saturday, but certainly within a week.

It is not supposed to be public who is being made available, which is too bad. I would expect to see some projectons coming out soon about who will be included.

There seems to be no doubt that White and Eisley will be left unprotected. There are a number of other teams that can be easily anticipated, but some teams like the Grizzlies are going to be very interesting.

The 12th is the deadline. Some teams do it earlier, but the 12th is it.

And I read that not even other NBA teams get to see the list.
Only the Bobcats.

I will watch on insider to see if any are there.
