I saw the trailer for this during Machete, and really, it doesn't look very good. I loved Man on Fire, but recently Tony Scott's material resembles Domino more than Man on Fire.

Admittedly, I'm interested in seeing Chris Pine in a non-Star Trek role, but Denzel plays this same character so much, he's becoming the new Harrison Ford. He ceases to act and is just "Denzel".

I saw the trailer also. This is a hard one to peg. Could be good but has bust all over it for some reason. Still it looked interesting enough for me to go and see it.

I just want to find out how the train ended up unmanned in the first place. :D

when Tony Scott is on his game (late 80's, early to mid 90's, Man On Fire), he's a really solid popcorn action director and here, he's balling. Two likable leads... not all that over the top... Scott at his restrained best.

Anyone who likes action movies should see. Fun time at the theater.

Absolutely agree. Very entertaining movie that kept you on the edge of your seat. Just got back and I really liked it.

Rasario Dawson = Hot!

Boy was I wrong about this one. Not spectacular, but as solid an action movie as you can get.

Hmm, didn't think I implied it was among the best action films ever made.

I misinterpreted what you meant by "as solid an action movie as you can get." I think I understand what you meant now. I'd rank it as a "decent" action film.
